SMS Spunmelt Production Line

The combination of the fabric of spunbond (S)type and meltblown (M) type gives fabric of the SMS type (its structurecomprises of two spunbond layers between which there is a meltblow layer, or ofthe SSMMS type (its structure comprises of three  spunbond layersinterlaid with two melt blown layers). The resulting composite fabric has excellentphysical properties (strength, elasticity, abrasion, secondary tearing, tearstrength etc.) and excellent barrier qualities preventing leakage of very fineparticles and microorganisms and aggressive liquid.

SMS composite material has very goodhydrophobic qualities (high water column) and it is suitable for the following:

Side barrier strips of baby nappies

Protective working clothes

In construction of face masks

Filtration and separation fabric
